Premium tourism & hospitality in Greece: natural stone in focus

Marble is woven into the fabric of Greek architecture, from ancient landmarks to exclusive resorts. Naturally cooling, locally abundant and visually striking, it has shaped Greek buildings for millennia.

Today, Greece pairs its world-renowned stone with a thriving luxury hospitality sector. In coastal environments, wet areas and high-traffic guest spaces, stone needs to remain secure, aligned and flawless for years to come.

Across several flagship hotels and resorts, Megapoxy PM and PF have been used to bond and fix more than 70,000 m² of marble and natural stone. Delivered through Megapoxy Hellas, our Greek distribution partner for more than 30 years, these projects showcase the role of proven epoxy systems in some of the country’s most prestigious hospitality developments.

Megapoxy PM’s smooth, non-sag consistency supports accurate placement on vertical and inclined surfaces, while PF delivers rapid-set performance for critical fixings and late-stage replacements. Together, they help achieve clean joints, precise alignment and long-term stability without burning or staining light-coloured stone.

Cali Mykonos Hotel, Mykonos

  • Stone: Sinai Pearl, Volakas and Travertine marble
  • Area installed: Approx. 20,000 m²
  • Construction + marble supplier: STM Tsaliagkos
  • Applications: Large-format marble flooring, reception counters, feature walls and guest interiors

Perched above a private cove at Kalafati, the exclusive Cali Mykonos resort is “dressed in stone and marble”. Whitewashed buildings step down the hillside towards stone terraces and an infinity pool overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Installed across multiple levels of the steep hillside site, the marble contributes to the calm, understated aesthetic that has become a hallmark of the resort.

Costa Navarino Waterfront, Peloponnese

  • Stone: Phaistos and Perla marble
  • Area installed: Approx. 45,000 m²
  • Construction: TEMES SA
  • Applications: Hotel buildings, pool surrounds and public areas

Located along the shoreline of the southwest Peloponnese, W Costa Navarino is designed to blur the boundaries between architecture, landscape and sea.

Natural stone is central to that experience, carrying through hotel buildings, pool surrounds and shared guest spaces. In this coastal setting, Megapoxy PM and PF supported secure marble installation across high-use areas exposed to moisture, salt air and changing temperatures.

Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel, Athens

  • Stone: Ariston, Calacatta, Arabescato and Sarrancolin de Versailles marble
  • Area installed: Approx. 14,000 m²
  • Construction + marble supplier: LACOMAR
  • Applications: Guest suites, bathrooms, lift lobbies and public spaces

Set on a private peninsula along the Athens Riviera, the Four Seasons Astir Palace combines coastal luxury with sophisticated design.

In the hotel’s guest-facing interiors, natural stone creates a peaceful, refined finish across bathrooms, suites, lobbies and public spaces. Megapoxy PM and PF supported secure, precise installation in areas exposed to daily use, cleaning regimes and moisture – for the aligned surfaces and clean detailing expected in a luxury hotel environment.
