Megapoxy Deep Pour Grout Instructional Video

Product Overview

Megapoxy Deep Pour Grout is a high-performance, heavy-duty epoxy grout designed for deep and large-volume grouting applications at depths of 50–300 mm. It is ideal for grouting industrial machinery, structural base plates, and civil infrastructure where high compressive strength and durability are required. This 100% solids, solvent-free system is formulated for deep pours, allowing placement in thick sections with controlled exotherm.

Surface Preparation

Before you begin mixing, ensure all contact surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, dust, and other surface contaminants. Concrete surfaces should be mechanically prepared by grinding or abrasive blasting to expose a sound surface. Proper surface preparation is essential to achieve strong bonding and long-term performance.

Mixing

Megapoxy Deep Pour Grout should be mixed thoroughly using a slow-speed mixer. Make sure to scrape the sides and base of the container to ensure all material is fully incorporated. Avoid vigorous mixing movements that may entrain air into the grout.

Continue mixing until a consistent, uniform colour is achieved.

Applications

Megapoxy Deep Pour Grout is ideal for:

  • Grouting machinery
  • Rail grouting
  • Direct fixing rail track pads
  • Chocking machinery
  • Base plate grouting

It is also recommended for:

  • Core hole filling
  • Bridge bearing pads
  • Locking post-tension cables

Application Method

Megapoxy Deep Pour Grout must be applied immediately after mixing. If ambient temperatures are high, store the product in a cool place prior to use, as elevated temperatures will reduce the working time. Topping up can be carried out at a later stage if required.

Ensure correct mixing ratios and thorough blending before application. Failure to do so may result in poor curing performance and reduced physical properties.

Clean tools and mixing equipment using Megapoxy Thinners before the product hardens. Use appropriate PPE including disposable gloves and follow good industrial hygiene practices. For further details, refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
